Don't know how their summer went, but Heath brings back most of the team by only graduating 2 seniors.

Heath should be pretty solid, but I don't know if their players have developed at the same rate as other teams in the league. They did have a nice playoff run last year though, almost advancing to a district final, so we shall see.

Bexley should also be solid. THey lose Asensio and Rogers, but return Robinette and Scott, as well as some solid underclassmen.

Newark Catholic loses a terrific senior class that led them to the state finals. They have some good young talent, but will be fairly inexperienced as a whole. I see them back in the middle of the pack this year.

Granville should be interesting this year under new leadership. Their lower level teams have been very successful lately, so look for them to be at or near the top of the league this year. They lose some size in Hofer and Hettler but have some experienced guards returning.

Licking Valley is another unknown with a new head coach. Any insight on the talent they have coming back?

Academy returns its top 2 leading scoreres in Eldridge and Ratcliff, and will have some young talent asked to step up as well. They could be a sleeper this year.

Lakewood lost Brian Large, and didnt have much outside of him.

Whitehall- took some big strides last year under their first year coach. I look for them to be improved again this year as they continue to rebuild their program.

Here are my preseason predictions:

1. Granville
2. Bexley
3. Academy
4. Heath
5. Whitehall
6. Newark Catholic
7. Licking Valley
8. Lakewood
